One significant advantage of TSP diamond is its high thermal stability. Our TSP products can withstand high temperatures of ~1200 degrees centigrade in a non-oxidizing atmosphere. Moreover, the relative wear resistance of the TSP diamond body remains the same under high temperature conditions.

One of the primary applications for TSP is wear protection on the gage of drill bits, but in softer formations, it can be used as a primary cutting element, as well.
Thermally Stable Polycrystalline (TSP) diamond can be manufactured into a variety of sizes and shapes (Cubes, Cylinders, Discs, Rectangles, Triangles, Spheres etc.) that can be inserted into cutting tools, drilling bits, reamers, wire drawing dies, and other wear-resistant components.
